When you ‘need’ a new piece of jewelry

My friend Missy is a super creative woman. She writes (she’s in my writing group), blogs and makes jewelry, candles and soaps at Missy Rose Studios.

I saw a piece she had posted on Facebook and asked her to make a necklace for me that incorporated the chakras and an Our Lady of Guadalupe medal on a nice long chain. (I’m not Roman Catholic — I consider myself an “Episcopagan” these days — but I’ve had a thing for Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe for years.)
