Truth be told, this is why I write.
I was 8 when I knew I wanted to be a writer. I didn’t know then about being a change agent, but I knew there was suffering in the world and I wanted to help somehow.
Fast forward more decades than I want to say and I’m still that 8-year-old, still sure I want to be a writer, still wanting to believe in myself as one. Only now, there’s this added awareness that sharing stories is vital to changing our world.
And I’m proud to be that kind of writer.
